History of Our Neighborhood
The City of Sawtelle was annexed by the City of Los Angeles as the Sawtelle annex. Arguably, the Sawtelle area has had nothing to gain from this annexation.
Our Neighborhood was Redlined as a “Hazardous” area by the Banks in the 1930s and 1940s.
